SCHOOLS PLAYING FOR SUCCESS

Welcome to the schools area of the website, here we hope to give you all the information you want if your school is going to be joining us down at the centre. We have included a FAQ, document store and a brief outline of our curriculum as well as the key contact information in case there is anything we have missed. The Basics:

We run three cohorts a year starting in September, January and April.
Cohorts run for six or ten weeks.
Pupils attend one session a week.
For 10 week courses start generally at:
Primary school pupils will attend 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Secondary school pupils will attend 5:00pm - 7:00pm
For 6 week courses pupils will attend generally between 3:00pm - 6.00pm
(Please note all times are general and can be altered to suit schools)
Pupils are brought to the centre by minibus from school.
Pupils are dropped off back at school after the session.

What We Do:

Support pupils with Literacy, Numeracy and ICT, using the football club and the ground as a
resource to inspire pupils.
Activities use a variety of equipment such as the latest ICT kit, video and digital cameras,
Interactive quizzes and the stadium itself to help enhance the curriculum and engage pupils.
Boost Literacy, Numeracy and ICT skills and also confidence and self esteem.

What We Don't Do:

Play football - The centre does not offer football training or coaching.
